AKIMBO BREAD

Akimbo was born in 2020 as a one-man home business producing slow-fermented, naturally leavened bread. Lindsay, Akimbo’s founder, built his brand by delivering artisan sourdough to some of the best restaurants and bars in the Northern suburbs until he and his friend Louis built the Northcote bakery in 2023.

TERRA MADRE​

Terra Madre has been supplying the community with affordable organic food and products since they first opened the doors in Northcote in 1996. Since then, the organic grocer has expanded to two locations and re now the leading certified organic wholesaler in Melbourne.
